AGI is immediately seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Engineer to join our team in California and Oregon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Field Engineer Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform field QA/QC, document and communicate daily field activities.
• Assist Project Managers with take offs, submittal preparations, and bid preparations.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor construction progress and assist superintendent in ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Extensive travel required to various AGI job sites, as assigned.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing best practices to protect workers and the environment.

Field Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management required.
• Prior experience (1-3 years) of related experience in ground improvement, geotechnical engineering, or construction.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and basic understanding of ground improvement techniques such as compaction, grouting, soil stabilization, and piling.
• Must be well organized, responsible, reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, CAD software.
• Active Driver’s license required.
