AGI is immediately seeking Shop Support Personnel to assist the Shop Manager and mechanics maintain the functionality of our Northern and Southern California shops and equipment yards.

Shop Support Personnel Responsibilities:

• Support Shop Manager in maintaining the functionality of the shop.
• Help mechanics and technicians with maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment and tools, ensuring they are ready for production work.
• Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist in loading and unloading of equipment and materials for transport to and from jobsites.
• Assist in basic fabrication tasks such as cutting, drilling, assembling components.
• Help mechanics and shop manager with equipment inspections to identify issues or needed repairs.
• Show a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and commit to a safety-conscious working environment, participating in daily safety briefings.

Shop Support Personnel Qualifications:

• High school diploma /GED.
• Be able to operate shop equipment and obtain certification if necessary, such as forklifts, and loaders, etc.
• Be able to use shop tools such as drills, hand tools, power washers, etc.
• Welding skills are a plus.
• Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Driver’s license required.
