AGI was contracted to improve the settlement performance and mitigate the potential for slope instability of a new proposed tailings dam for a gold mine in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Access for the project required significant clearing and grading out to the remote site to transport the large drilling equipment and cement deliveries to the site. AGI design and constructed a DSM key to meet the performance criteria for the project.
