Deep Soil Mixing

Deep Soil Mixing (DSM) is an in-situ ground improvement technique that blends native soils with cementitious binders using high-torque mixing tools, creating soilcrete columns with enhanced strength and reduced permeability. DSM is used to stabilize weak or liquefiable soils, control groundwater, and support heavy structural loads. Common applications include foundation support, excavation shoring, liquefaction mitigation, seepage control for levees and dams, and environmental containment barriers. This method offers precise, engineered improvement with minimal spoil generation and adaptability to a wide range of soil conditions.
